From 1993 until 2011, before embarking on his real estate career, Art operated one of New Jersey's most successful choose-and-cut Christmas tree farms, attracting customers from all over New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and five New York boroughs. Art turned a young tree farm into a well-known operation that was featured in the Financial Times, New York Daily News, New Jersey Star Ledger and many other publications.
As Director of Public Affairs for Merck & Co. Inc., Art managed a group of professionals developing international communications plans and facilitating public relations activities in Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America. He also oversaw the communications activities of Merck operations in Singapore, China, Australia, and Latin America.
